She played a key role in developing and implementing occupational therapy workshops as part of a school curriculum, focusing on life skills, fine motor development, and academic support for both students and teachers. As a certified Handwriting Without Tears specialist, she brings expertise in handwriting and fine motor skill development, helping children improve critical academic and daily living skills.

One of Laura’s strengths is her strong collaboration with parents, teachers, and other health professionals, ensuring a well-rounded approach to each child’s development. Known for her calm demeanor, patience, and the ability to produce quick and noticeable progress, she has earned high praise from families and educators alike.

Laura is passionate about helping children build confidence in their abilities, both at school and at home. She often refers to herself as a “pocket OT,” always ready to support families with practical advice and solutions tailored to their child’s unique needs.

Andreea Guler OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Andreea is a licensed Occupational Therapist who earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she completed her doctoral project focused on improving access to home-based developmental play resources for families. She is passionate about working with children to build confidence and independence in their everyday activities at home, in school, and in the community.

Andreea has experience working with children in outpatient pediatric and special education school settings, primarily supporting neurodiverse children and those with a range of developmental abilities. She implemented interventions to strengthen social-emotional, executive functioning, fine motor, and gross motor skills, and developed tailored educational materials for parents to encourage continued growth and understanding of their child’s developing abilities at home.

She has a special interest in working with neurodiverse children and hopes to continue supporting children of all capabilities as they grow and engage in meaningful daily activities. Andreea values a collaborative, family-centered approach to helping each child reach their full potential.
