Cutting a Circle

Once a child is able to cut along curved lines, we can begin introducing circles for cutting. This can get tricky. Cutting out a circle requires both hands to work efficiently together. While cutting along the lines of a circle, the helper hand must constantly turn the paper. Children may attempt to use their arms to turn the scissors instead. Cutting out a circle take lots of practice and time!
