About:

Who’s ready for preschool?! Join Mrs. Laura for a fun and engaging 10-week series of live OT classes. Your child will LOVE using simple tools to support their academic learning from home while building important foundational skills for school success. We will cover important topics such as counting, letter recognition and sounds, handwriting, cutting with scissors, and more!

After each live session, parents will receive a downloadable resource with suggested activities and games to continue their learning before our next class!

Lesson Focus: Strengthening the Hands

Children will engage in fun ways to strengthen the hands while practicing their counting and pre-writing skills.

Parents, do not underestimate the importance of hand strength! Hand strength is important for everyday activities such as dressing, holding a pencil, cutting with scissors, and many other tasks. When children have weak hands, we can expect them to struggle with holding a pencil, opening and closing the scissors when cutting, dressing, and more.
