Who’s ready for preschool?! Join Mrs. Laura for a fun and engaging 10-week series of live OT classes. Your child will LOVE using simple tools to support their academic learning from home while building important foundational skills for school success. We will cover important topics such as counting, letter recognition and sounds, handwriting, cutting with scissors, and more!

After each live session, parents will receive a downloadable resource with suggested activities and games to continue their learning before our next class!  

Lesson Focus: Letter Formation

Children will engage in fun and magical ways to practice letter formation! Children will love using a multi-sensory approach to letter formation.

Parents, when your child begins to learn how to write letters from home, letter formation always begins at the top. Children who write with poor letter formation may be more likely to struggle with reading, letter reversals, and handwriting speed. This class can help you and your little one learn proper letter formation while continuing to practice a proper pencil grasp.

Tools Required:

• 2 Cups of Water with Orange and Yellow Color Dye (2 separate cups)

• 4 Popsicle Sticks (we will build letters using these)

• Kids Eye Dropper (alternative: 2 clothespins & 2 pom poms)

• PDF Printouts

• Pencil (preferably the triangular pencil)

• Shaving Cream

• Tray (alternative: baking pan)

• Wet Wipe (clean hands after)
