Shape Puzzle
Activity Description
Children love to use scooter boards! Your little one will scoot to complete a shape puzzle.
Steps
Step 1: Place the puzzle pieces on one side and on the other side, place the puzzle board.
Step 2: Sit on the scooter board and scoot to retrieve a shape and place into the puzzle board. Don't forget to name the shape!
Goals
Scooter boards are an engaging way to get your little ones moving and learning! When children are propelling themselves forward using their legs, they are engaging their core muscles and improving motor planning skills.
Tips for Parents
Parents, if sitting on the scooter board is uncomfortable for your little one, try placing a soft cushion or towel on top. Remind them to sit in the middle of the scooter to keep from falling off.
